This privacy policy explains the type, scope and purpose of the processing of personal data when you visit this website (wernecke.it) and when you use our contact form. The legal framework is the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by ALL-INKL.COM - Neue Medien Münnich, owner René Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany (the "host"). The servers are located in Germany. The host processes the data arising when you visit this website on our behalf; we have concluded a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR for this purpose. Legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure and efficient provision of our offering). Provider's privacy information: all-inkl.com/datenschutzinformationen.
When the site is accessed, the web server automatically stores data sent by your browser in so-called server log files:
- IP address (truncated or kept only for the connection)
- date and time of the request
- requested URL and HTTP status code
- amount of data transferred
- browser and operating system used
- referrer URL (previously visited page)
These data are processed to ensure operation, mitigate attacks and analyse errors. Legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest). Log files are deleted or anonymised no later than 14 days.
3. Contact form and email contact
If you send us a message via the contact form or by email, your details (name, email address, optional phone number, topic, message body) are processed to handle your request and any follow-up. Transmission to our mailbox is encrypted (TLS) via our own SMTP server.
Legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in handling your enquiry).
We retain your enquiry and the related correspondence for as long as needed to handle the request and any follow-up questions. Where statutory retention obligations apply (e.g. commercial or tax law), we delete after they expire.
To manage contact requests and customer relationships we use the CRM system Fibery (Fibery Limited, Nicosia, Cyprus). There we store and process the data arising from your enquiry or a contractual relationship (e.g. name, contact details, your request and the related correspondence). Fibery processes these data solely on our behalf; the basis is the data processing addendum (Art. 28 GDPR) provided by Fibery. Legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (contract or pre-contractual measures) and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in efficiently handling and managing enquiries). This may involve transfers to sub-processors in third countries (including the USA); such transfers are safeguarded by EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Privacy information: fibery.com/privacy-policy.
4. Web analytics with Matomo
We use the open-source software Matomo for pseudonymous analysis of visitor behaviour. Matomo runs on our own infrastructure in Germany; no data are transferred to third parties or third countries.
By default, analytics runs without cookies and without consent. No information requiring consent under Section 25 (1) TDDDG is stored on or read from your device. Your IP address is truncated (anonymised) before any storage, so no conclusions about your person are possible. In this mode you are not recognised across multiple visits. Legal basis is our legitimate interest in data-minimising, anonymous statistics pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
Only if you explicitly consent does Matomo additionally set cookies to recognise you across visits. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and Section 25 (1) TDDDG (consent). Your consent is voluntary and can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future - via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it. You may also object to the anonymous, cookieless analytics at any time via the Matomo opt-out below.
Objection (opt-out): Using the setting below you can object to the anonymous analytics at any time. An opt-out cookie is set so that your visits are no longer recorded.
5. External content
On individual pages we embed maps from OpenStreetMap (OpenStreetMap Foundation, St John's Innovation Centre, Cowley Road, Cambridge, CB4 0WS, UK). The map is only loaded once you actively click "Load map"; at that point your IP address is transmitted to the provider. Without this click, no data is sent to OpenStreetMap. Privacy notice: osmfoundation.org/Privacy_Policy.
The fonts used (Inter, Space Grotesk and Caveat) are served locally from our own server. No connection to third-party servers (in particular not to Google Fonts) is made and your IP address is not transmitted to third parties.
6. Cookies
Technically necessary storage (e.g. localStorage to remember your cookie
decision) is used without consent, as it is required for operation.
In addition, web analytics with Matomo (see section 4) sets cookies for recognition - these are set only after your consent and can be withdrawn at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer. No marketing cookies are used and no data is shared with third parties.
7. SSL/TLS encryption
For security and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the address bar of your browser (https://).
8. Your rights
You have the following rights regarding personal data concerning you:
- right of access (Art. 15 GDPR)
- right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
- right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
- right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- right to object (Art. 21 GDPR)
- right to withdraw consent (Art. 7 (3) GDPR)
An informal email to info@wernecke.it is sufficient to exercise your rights.
9. Right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority about our processing of your personal data. The competent authority is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, Alt-Moabit 59–61, 10555 Berlin, Germany.
